What is Laser Cutting?

A focused laser beam is directed through optics to melt or vaporize material along a programmed path while assist gas (nitrogen/oxygen/air) clears the kerf. The process produces narrow kerfs, smooth edges, and intricate features ideal for sheet-metal profiles.

Fiber Laser Cutting

Typical profile tolerance is ±0.1–0.2 mm on thin sheet. Tighter specs may be achievable after DFM review, appropriate fixturing, and process qualification. Feature size, alloy, thickness, and assist gas all influence results.

Yes. We offer laser engraving/marking for text, logos, serial numbers, and QR codes across many metals (and select non-metals). We’ll recommend contrast vs. depth settings based on your finish and traceability needs.

  • Laser: high precision, small kerf, clean edges; excellent for intricate sheet-metal profiles.

  • Plasma: economical for thicker carbon steel but with rougher edges and larger kerf; often needs secondary finishing.
    For heat-sensitive or very thick materials, waterjet may be a better alternative (no HAZ).

Yes—standard deburr/chamfer is available. For cosmetic faces, we can add bead-blast, brushing, anodizing, powder coat, plating, passivation, silk-screen, and laser marking.

Cycle time depends on part complexity, material/thickness, quantity, and finishing. Simple parts can ship in a few business days after DFM approval; assemblies/coatings add time. We’ll confirm lead time with your quote.
