CNC Milling Service

Delivered with speed and precision
3-Axis CNC Milling

Efficient and accurate for prismatic parts and planar features; best value for simple-to-moderate geometry.
Typical use: baseplates, brackets, housings, jigs/fixtures, cover plates.

4-Axis CNC Milling

Rotary indexing enables multi-face features in fewer setups—great for parts with features around the circumference.
Typical use: impellers, manifolds, cams, complex brackets.

5-Axis CNC Milling

Simultaneous or indexed machining for complex surfaces and compound angles; fewer setups, better feature-to-feature accuracy, and improved surface quality.
Typical use: aerospace/robotics components, medical instrument frames, high-value housings, molds/dies and contours.

CNC Milling Case

FAQs

We run 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling to match different geometry, cost, and lead-time needs.

  • 3-axis: Best value for prismatic parts and planar features.

  • 4-axis: Adds rotary indexing for multi-face features in fewer setups (great for parts with features around a circumference).

  • 5-axis (indexed & simultaneous): For complex surfaces, compound angles, and tight feature-to-feature relationships—fewer setups, better accuracy.

We support prototypes, bridge builds, and production with multi-axis milling, DFM, and inspection.

  • Typical envelopes (guide): up to ~1270 × 508 × 635 mm (3-axis) and ~450 × 700 × 400 mm or Ø400 mm rotary (5-axis). If your part is larger, we’ll evaluate sectional machining or partner capacity.

  • Tolerances (guide): general features ±0.127 mm (±0.005″); ±0.05 mm (±0.002″) is common on suitable features with a full drawing & inspection plan. Tighter specs can be reviewed case-by-case.

  • Lead times: simple 3-axis prototypes often 3–7 days; complex 5-axis with finishing 7–14 days (depends on geometry/finish).

  • Extras: finishing (anodize, EN, passivation, powder coat, etc.), heat treatment, CMM reports, material certs, CoC, RoHS/REACH.

  • Milling: the tool moves (X/Y/Z, possibly A/B/C), the part is typically fixed; ideal for flats, pockets, slots, contours, and multi-face features.

  • Turning: the part rotates while the tool is stationary (or moves linearly); ideal for round parts—shafts, bushings, rings, threaded features—often faster and more economical for cylindrical geometry.

  • Vertical mills (VMC): vertically oriented spindle; versatile, great visibility, ideal for most precision work and smaller components.

  • Horizontal mills (HMC): horizontally oriented spindle; better chip evacuation, rigidity, and material-removal rates—suited for large/heavy parts or high-volume roughing.
Choose HMC for bulk removal & heavy fixtures; choose VMC for intricate, detailed work and fast setup.

5-axis machines move in X/Y/Z plus two rotary axes (A/B or A/C). Indexed or simultaneous control lets the tool reach complex surfaces and angles, reducing setups, error stack-ups, and surface mismatch—ideal for aerospace/robotics/medical parts and premium housings.

Tool offsets compensate for the actual tool length and diameter so paths are cut where the program intends. Accurate offsets (often via probing) keep features on-spec and consistent across tool changes and batches.
